We have a small but growing provision of affordable housing for families. This service started in 2011 and we have four homes in Harrow, five homes in the neighbouring borough of Hillingdon, and a further two in Hounslow.

We work in partnership with local councils who will nominate prospective tenants to us from their waiting list. The council will nominate the highest priority applicants who would qualify for the property in terms of its size or location.

Woodforde Court

In February 2015 Harlington Rectory Housing Association in Hillingdon merged with HCHA.

Harlington is made up of two blocks, St Peters Close and Woodforde Court.

There are 25 units; 8 one bedroom flats and 17 studio flats.

Raz's Story

Raz had lived in Harrow Council accommodation since 1989 and then last year she and her daughter moved into a HCHA general needs property in Harrow. Raz says, ‘When I walked into the property to view it I loved it and I said that I could see myself growing old here! It is exactly what I wanted, with an immaculate kitchen diner and a little garden. It’s like a dream come true. I’m very happy with HCHA and my new home. My eldest daughter only lives five minutes’ walk away so it’s excellent for the family because we live near each other now.’
