In May Harrow Council awarded the care contract for Ewart House extra care scheme to our new partner, Hales Home Care, a division of the privately owned Hales Group, who have been providing bespoke person-centred care for over 30 years.
Care staff that were employed by the previous care provider, Creative Support, have all been transferred over to Hales Group to ensure a smooth, seamless and continued care service to our tenants. You can identify them by their distinctive new uniform of white shirt with the green Hales logo.
Nikki Carter, Operations Manager at Hales Group provided this statement for our residents at Ewart House, “The health and happiness of our service users is our number one priority, and we work hard to make sure our highly trained care workers offer you the service you need to help maintain your independence. We work with you to make sure the care we deliver is as individual as you are. We aim to deliver a safe, consistent, well-managed and planned service, through a well-trained and skilled workforce, where individuals’ rights and choices are promoted and service users are encouraged to maximise their independence. Hales will be providing personal care and emergency response services to the residents of Ewart House. Our care workers are well trained and fully supported members of our team. They will treat you with dignity and respect at all times. Care and support is delivered in a way that is built around you and your needs, making sure you receive the best possible service from us.”
Edith Saituru, Operations Manager for HCHA, said, ‘It’s with great pleasure that I welcome our new partners, Hales Group. I look forward to working with them in providing a seamless service at Ewart House. My vision is to see good joint working in activities, community involvement and person centred support and care services. We will be meeting with the new management to discuss their new revised care contract to ensure we maximise all our tenants potential. All tenants are welcome to propose changes or improvements to both our services.’
